MyGutMap
A food and bowel diary for iPhone. You record what you eat and what happens afterwards, and the app looks for foods that keep turning up before the bad days.
Download on the App Store — free, no ads, no account. Requires iOS 26 or later.
Your diary stays on your phone. There are no accounts and no servers of mine; nothing you record leaves it except the optional Record where you ate, which asks Apple for the name of a place and nothing more — see the privacy policy.

Questions, bug reports, or a feature you wish it had:
It is one person answering, so a reply may take a few days. A bug report is far easier to act on if it says what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead — and which iPhone and iOS version you are on (Settings → General → About).
Common questions
Where is my data kept? On your iPhone, in the app's own storage. It is included in your device backup if you have backups turned on. Nothing you write is uploaded anywhere — the one exception is the optional Record where you ate, covered in the privacy policy.
How do I get my data out? Settings → Export Data writes a JSON file with everything in it, which you can send wherever you like. Settings → Generate Report produces a PDF for a period you choose, laid out as a diary a doctor can read.
How do I delete everything? Settings → Delete All Data clears every record. Deleting the app removes the database and the photographs with it.
Why does it ask for Health access? Only to read your weight, step count and exercise minutes, so they can be shown alongside your records. It never writes to the Health app, and you can refuse or withdraw the permission without losing anything else.
Why did the Food–Stool Map change after updating to 1.4? Until 1.4 the same food written in two languages was counted as two foods — 밥 and rice, 커피 and coffee — so each had only part of its record, and a food could look fine in one language while it was not in the other. From 1.4 they are counted as one, which can move a food into or out of a list. Nothing you recorded was changed; only how it is counted.
Can I support the app? Thank you for asking. From 1.5, Settings → Support MyGutMap has three optional tips, paid through the App Store. A tip unlocks nothing — every feature stays free, with or without one.
Is this medical advice? No. MyGutMap counts what you recorded and shows patterns in timing. Timing is not cause, and the app is not a diagnosis. If something about your health worries you, see a doctor.
